"SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online is a Third Person Shooter created by Korean company Softmax that was released in 2007. Starting with the Korean service provided by Netmarble, the game has since expanded to other regions under different companies. I really like SDGO for its Free-User content since we can get any gundam we want via in-game money, but its takes alot of time and effort to get our dream gundams. But there are certain things that I hate about the game like: in PVP, the winning team gets 400 money while I'm in the losing team I gain only half the money even though I am in 1st-2nd place in the scoreboard..... and hangar slot expanders =__=
Now to the topic, if your playing just to collect gundams then you've come to the right place.
(Since I play the SEA version, I'll be talking about SEA stuff and how I started my journey to SDGO SEA)
1.) Beginner's Start
1.1.) Making Multiple AccountsThis is needed to get your starter mobile suit, not the Training MS-A/B, I meant getting your favorite suit in the capsule machines that cost 7,500-14,800 points... You need multiple emails (I know this will be a bitch) then create multiple accounts, you can only create 2 accounts per day but if you have multiple browsers you can create 2 in Firefox and 2 in Chrome. As for Usernames, if your picky on your name, you can just add "l" and "I" in the sides of the username you want (ex. lICoWorkerII) since in SEA server's font, "l" and "I" are identical and you can use these as username barcodes.
1.2.) Making In-Game Money in Training Channel
Just use any C-rank (you dont need to do the tutorial missions, stick with Training MS-A/B) and do the basic quests that give you 1000-3000 points, you also earn tons of point on each Rank-up. All you need yo do is complete 8 Very Easy runs of Psycho Gundam or Apsalus II missions since they are the fastest to finish. After when you reach the Rank that lets you access to Beginner Channels, you will have tons of money to roll a 14,800 Capsule. And it only takes 30 minutes to finish 8 runs.
1.3.) Rolling Time :D
My main goal is to get Gundam Heavyarms Custom EW (S-rank), so I need its Key Unit to craft it which is Gundam Heavyarms Custom (A-rank) in some 14,800 capsule. This part can be frustrating since if you get the wrong unit, you have to do another 8 runs in another account (But earning tons of money in 30 minutes is better than grinding yourself for days just to do another 1 roll). If you have balls you can also try to roll the special ICM (costs 12,500) that gives you a chance to get a S-rank, but the chances are very slim and mostly you will get exp packs... ICM TOTALLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! <__<
Now that you have your Mobile Suit from the 14800 Capsule, you will have a smooth road ahead. Now you will focus on starting to get the materials for your dream S-rank, since you still have tons of quests that give 1000-3000 worth of money, you should spend them in the materials that you need. But if you ran out of Quests, your other option is to grind since each day you will have these 15 Clovers (Faith) next to your operator, Faith grants you 20% more bonus to EXP and Money, but if you do a Solo Missions with a faith, you will gain 288 of EXP and Money, 288x15=4320 EXP and Money per day which is great, then you can play the arena and do some daily quests to earn more money. Keep grinding and eventually you can craft your S-rank. Make sure you do the Solo Space Missions since its only takes 3 minutes to finish.
1.5.) Only Take what you Need.... But milk them 1st ._.
When you roll in a capsule, theres always a time you will get a unit that you dont want/need, for my example i randomly got a Dreadnought Gundam (A-rank) from a capsule, then i ask myself:
- Do you want it / for getting its S-ranks like Provedence/Legend Gundam?
- Do you need it right now/ later?
2.) Late Game
2.1.)Event Grid 3:58If you keep faith grinding, grinding, and grinding, you will get bored. You just want money right? save your Faith and play during events since it has EXP and Money bonus, and if your Rank is high enough, you can join Event Grid 3:58 rooms. Here people are in separate teams: RED and BLUE, and people win and lose in order, like if people say Red Turn then Blue Team must lose then in the next match the Red team must lose to Blue Team. For each Win while having faith earns you 600 money while on Lose gains 300, this is quite alot but the backfire is the Battleship's Battery costs 50 money per round (1000 for 20 rounds). Note: Make sure you do 5 hits in a match or else you gain 0 EXP and Money.
2.2) Project Overdrive Event
In SEA server, every month theres a event called Project Overdrive. This event will select 6 units from the 3 new capsules and we can level then in a certain level to gain prizes after the events ends. So the easiest way is to Grind spam with C-ranks since they are the easiest to level, turn them into Overcustom-3 in-order to gain 1000Exp Pack x3, Level Protector x3 and 10,000 money. Seriously, i was broke but I grinding tons of C-ranks and it made me earn 100,000 money per month. :X
2.3) Capsule Roll Trick
When you roll a capsule, make sure that you roll in an empty channel. Capsules have a rotation/cycle pattern when they give a unit out to a player like:
C-rank,C-rank,B-rank,C-rank,C-rank.CR-rank,C-rank,C-rank,A-rank (this is just a example).
So if you try to roll in a crowded channel it would be like this:
-Person1 gets C-rank
-Person2 gets C-rank (few seconds after Person1 rolled)
-Person3 gets A rank (few seconds after Person2 rolled)
-Person1 gets C-rank (few seconds after Person3 rolled)
Make sure you have alot of money before you do this, single roll in an empty channel wont work and check the channel before you roll (Click Friendslist->General tab to see if there are people in the channel). By this trick, it saved me alot of time of griding since it made me get every A-AR unit that I wanted (The-O, Dynames Full GN Shield, Exia Seven Swords, Strike Noir etc.)

2.4) EXP Farm
If you just want EXP, you can just grab a suit with a spamable weaponry and level it to Overcustom-3 (Rezel Commander for example) and grind some more exp until its full. Then use it in Faith grinds or in PVP and you will noticed your EXP Mastery gain more exp (since your unit EXP is full), now if you have tons of Empty EXP Packs (which you can buy from the shop for 2000 or from rare capsule events) use all of Mastery and put them all to your EXP packs and you will have a huge supply of EXP Packs. Its really handy to level some hard to use units in missions like Gundam Epyon.
Thanks dude, this realy helps me with the Capsule trick, btw im GundamGeekZ ^w^ Nice to meat ya
